HitchFire has introduced a game-changing hitch-mounted grill, ready for any adventure. Seeing the need for better organization, I jumped in to help. I took these ideas from concept to prototype, through production, and all the way to the final product.
Growler Carry Case
Some critical quality points were the need to strap the case to a vehicle, ensure the hose fits in the bag, and prevent propane from settling at the bottom.
The design I created includes vertical MOLLE webbing for multiple strapping options, a pocket at the top of the case to store the hose when not in use, and a mesh bottom to allow any propane or debris to escape.
Flat Top Griddle Carry Case
For the griddle case, users needed a place to set their hot griddle to cool, and it had to be easy to clean. The solution came down to the material. I used silicone-coated aluminum fiberglass for the interior. The fiberglass provides heat resistance, while the silicone coating makes cleanup easy and seals the fiberglass, ensuring it’s food safe.
