HitchFire has introduced a game-changing hitch-mounted grill, ready for any adventure. Seeing the need for better organization, I jumped in to help. I took these ideas from concept to prototype, through production, and all the way to the final product.
Growler Carry Case
Some critical quality points were the need to strap the case to a vehicle, ensure the hose fits in the bag, and prevent propane from settling at the bottom.
The design I created includes vertical MOLLE webbing for multiple strapping options, a pocket at the top of the case to store the hose when not in use, and a mesh bottom to allow any propane or debris to escape.
Durable Construction: Crafted from rugged materials, our gas growler carrying case ensures durability and protection for your propane cylinder.
Secure Fit: The case features a snug fit to hold a standard 5lb propane tank securely in place, preventing shifting during transport.
Adjustable Straps: Equipped with adjustable straps and quick-release buckles, making it easy to attach and detach from your HitchFire grill mount.
Storage compartment for hose: The top of the carrying case features a mesh storage pouch will pull strings to safely store your propane hose.
Flat Top Griddle Carry Case
For the griddle case, users needed a place to set their hot griddle to cool, and it had to be easy to clean. The solution came down to the material. I used silicone-coated aluminum fiberglass for the interior. The fiberglass provides heat resistance, while the silicone coating makes cleanup easy and seals the fiberglass, ensuring it’s food safe.
Materials
Interior: Silicone coated aluminum fiberglass- abrasion and corrosion resistant, chemical resistant, durable (working temperatures of 9932F), heat resistant, oil and water resistant.
Exterior: Uv resistant Cordura
